Do you believe in the importance of empowering women? Do you want to play a pivotal role in ensuring our community thrives? We are looking for a volunteer Head of Marketing & Growth to join our Leadership Team at Lean In Netherlands Randstad.
Marketing is the lifeblood of our network—it keeps our community visible, connected, and growing. As Head of Marketing, you will lead a team of talented, dedicated volunteers across social media, content, website, design, email, and more. A central part of your role will be ensuring that our marketing is consistent in quality, branding, and messaging, and that our content output runs smoothly, regularly, and reliably. By providing structure and oversight, you will help the team work efficiently while keeping our storytelling creative, engaging, and impactful—raising awareness of our mission and amplifying the importance of gender equality in the Netherlands and beyond.
You’ll provide guidance, mentorship, and support to the marketing team, while also learning from their perspectives and ideas. You’ll collaborate closely with other team leads and the Board to help shape strategy and ensure our community continues to thrive.
This is a pro bono leadership role that is based in the Netherlands, requiring about 5 hours per week. While voluntary, it offers rich rewards: mutual support, personal growth, and the knowledge that your skills directly contribute to building a stronger, more equitable society.
Responsibilities & Duties
Set the vision, strategy, and direction for marketing, ensuring alignment with our mission and community goals.
Lead, mentor, and inspire the marketing volunteer team—helping them thrive, grow, and deliver impactful work.
Develop and oversee a consistent content and communications calendar across channels (social, email, blog, events, partnerships).
Ensure consistency in brand, tone, and messaging across all marketing outputs.
Collaborate with other teams (events, circles, partnerships, leadership development) to maximize reach and impact.
Create processes and frameworks that enable efficiency and consistency across the team.
Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention of new marketing volunteers.
Partner with the Board and Leadership Team to shape and execute long-term organizational strategy.
Qualifications
5+ years of marketing management experience, including multi-channel campaigns (online & offline).
Proven ability to run integrated marketing platforms with strong content, branding, and growth strategies.
5+ years of team leadership experience (experience managing volunteers is a plus).
Highly creative with a structured, organized approach to execution.
Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
Results-driven, with experience setting and tracking KPIs.
Excellent project management and prioritization skills.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Able to dedicate ~5 hours/week to the role.

Role description:
For our Finance and Treasury team at Lean In Network | Netherlands Randstad we are looking for a volunteer Finance Manager. In this role, you will be in charge of running strategic financial projects and the day-to-day treasury roadmap ensuring the foundation is up to date with its obligations.
This volunteer role is expected to take 3-5 hours per week.
You have a background in Finance and Treasury and preferably also Dutch tax or accounting for non-profits, foundations and NGOs. In this role you will report directly to the Head of Finance & Treasury and work directly with the board but have a lot of interaction with the departments, acting as a finance business partner.
Responsibilities:
Conducting financial accounting and tax compliance according to the Dutch legislation
Assist with financial decision making during strategic projects or events;
Provide insight into the financial implications deriving from partnerships and events;
You lead by example, in an authentic and inclusive way and encourage participation and championing of individuals from diverse ethnic backgrounds, ways of thinking, gender, sexual inclination and abilities.
Coordinate and support in the execution of the ANBI implementation plan.

Experience in a non-profit sector is preferred.
